Description

Accent events take place in the historic Ford Center (courtesy of HGA Inc.), which is located a few blocks off Washington Avenue, directly across Target Field. Upon arrival enjoy wine, light supper and casual conversation with fellow FRIENDS members and Orchestra fans in this renowned, fun space. At the heart of each Accent is a featured presentation from one or multiple Minnesota Orchestra musicians and/or artistic staff. This 45-60 minute presentation varies from speaker to speaker and can include performances, instrument demonstrations, behind-the-scenes stories, audition processes, biographical stories, Q & A and educational and entertaining anecdotes. Participants rave about what they learn and how much closer and connected they feel to the Minnesota Orchestra.
