Accent-Lifelong Learning with David Williamson

We are honored that David Williamson, Bass player in the Minnesota Orchestra, will be our guest musician for our first Accent-Lifelong Learning of the 2014 – 2015 season. Meet and greet this accomplished musician and other FRIENDS of the Minnesota Orchestra at the opening reception at 5:30 pm. Mr. Williamson will present a short program and will answer questions.

A native of St. Paul, Williamson has been with the Minnesota Orchestra since 1986. He is a featured musician in the Chamber Music at MacPhail series, has performed as the guest principal bass for the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, is principal bass in the Oregon Bach Festival. He has studied at the University of Minnesota and earned his degree at Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, studying with Roger Scott.
