Kinder Konzerts

May 15 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm CDT

$6

Preschool and Kindergarten-aged children are invited to Orchestra Hall for a magical literary and musical experience. First, they get to participate in a Sound Factory where they learn a fun song and get to try a few different instruments. Then they enter Orchestra Hall where they get the rare experience to sit on stage and hear a short concert. This year’s concert is One-Dog Canoe composed by Daniel Nass, based on the beloved Northwoods Children’s story of the same name, written by Mary Casanova. One-Dog Canoe is the 18th Commissioned work by FRIENDS of the Minnesota Orchestra for Kinder Konzerts, which is celebrating its 40th season in 2019-20.
