Resources for Educators
Welcome to Kinder Konzerts! This program is a wonderful way for children to enjoy Orchestra Hall and learn more about music with a musical experience called a Sound Factory and an on-stage concert, performed by members of the Minnesota Orchestra and a narrator. The 2018-19 Kinder Konzerts 2018-19 season featured Perfect Square, Charles Lazarus’ musical re-telling of the beautiful children’s book by Michael Hall. The 2019-20 season will feature One-Dog Canoe by Mary Casanova, with an original musical work composed by Minnesota composer Daniel Nass which will debut in September 2019. These materials are designed to support classroom activities around your classrooms attendance of Kinder Konzerts. Updated resources for the 2019-20 season will be released as they become available.

We Are The Audience
Registration for our 2019-20 Educator Workshops is now open!
We will have two educator workshops again this year: Saturday, September 21, 2019 and Saturday, January 11, 2020. Both workshops are from 9:30-noon and the cost is $25 per attendee. If you are new to the program, have new staff, or are unfamiliar with the story this will help give valuable curriculum planning tips and a chance to preview the program your group will experience. Coffee and pastries are served and all participants are given a clock hours certificate.
